I'm wondering what you have to do to make the "fan hit the radiator". I've
driven long distance rallies, backroads, and the California highway system,
and I haven't had this happen yet. If you let your motor mounts get old and
weak, I could maybe see a problem.

Obviously, running into another car or a stationary object would cause
damage to all sorts of things.
