[Mgs] Electronic Tach

I need to install an electronic tach in my MGA race car.  The cam that's 
going in has no tach drive and I don't have the luxury of waiting for a 
cam with a drive.  Recommendations on an aftermarket tach?  What 
diameter housing? It will go in the dash.  I don't have the car with me 
and I need to get an order in.  I'm thinking Auto Meter or something 
similar, preferably to 8K. Thanks.
