[Mgs] setting jets in su's

I had a sneaking suspicion that what you relate was the case in the OP. 
    Gosh, when I was drag racing street Chevys, we tweaked the float 
heights, when the guys with the $$ swapped jets or even carbs.  Long 
ago...........
