The dashes were completely different between North American spec and other
cars, and most of the instruments and controls, from 67 onwards.

I believe North American spec had underdash liners for some reason, something
that UK spec never had.  Would make the case-mounted twiddler tricky to
reach!

  speedos - Maybe the through the acrylic one was more expensive ????
