[Mg-t] Fun

Hello Friends,
   I write this evening out of pure enjoyment. My TD is almost ready for
its first road test! Today I verified that the brakes are still good, and
the pedal is firm. The engine starts with the slightest pull of the start
knob. The clutch is smooth and the gearbox goes through it's paces
smoothly, on jack stands anyway.
   Today I reset the tire pressures to 25psi, all around, and verified that
no fluids were leaking. Tomorrow I will mount the right front wing and
running board, completing the body assembly (except for the front valence
and bumpers).
   The water temperature gauge has failed but the oil pressure half works
fine. I will eventually have it repaired, but in the mean time, I have
verified, via IR thermometer, that the temperature stabilizes once the
thermostat opens.
   I enjoy five LBCs, spanning multiple decades: The '53 TD, a '62 TR3b, a
'73 E-Type, a '75 TR6 and a '78 Esprit. My cars from the '80s are Italian.
   That's it. Most pleased. What a wonderful hobby.
