[Mg-t] gas tank coating

It is all welded together and you cannot take it apart...The sender  
is the small plate on the back and it won't do any good to remove it  
other than protect it from the coating (if you need to)

You either have to fill it or take it off and slosh the fluid around  
to coat it.
