Don,

I think you may have a DUH*6*A.  Sounds like N-Type description, but 
that is a DQH6A. Yours was used on a Morris Commercial Van or Truck from 
the 30's, and also on lesser cars -  2.5 liter Jags and a Triumph.

Can you send me a foto? I'd like to see the drive type, etc.
