It appears the first email may have bounced due to excessive length , so
here is a shorter version. Sorry if it comes through twice.

Hi again MMMers.
In my earlier email re MMM Engine News I referred to " a VERY expensive
rebuild by a high end shop in Mass." I had forwarded my email to Chris
Leydon , Leydon Restorations, and he has made the comment following.
" When you write to any MG newsletter and mention an MG engine was
taken to a "high end" engine shop, the readers will suspect it was
sent to me irregardless of the designation of the named state. After
forty years of dedication to the craft (see Kudos section of my
website and please read the letters and articles), I would feel it
tragic to be implicated in work by the very scoundrel whose travesties
I have had to repair."
So let me be VERY CLEAR, I was NOT refering to Chris Leydon or his
restoration business and aplogize to him if this caused any misunderstnding
. The shop in question was In Salem Mass. at the time and has no connection
to Chris. Sorry
Anybody wants the name of the shop, I'll advise it by telephone, I can call
you if you email me the request with your telephone number.

Hi All,
Good news, bad news on the Canadian MG MMM engine front. List has been quiet
so I thought I would update listers.
B-NA-0686 engine has now been partially stripped, only crank to come out of
the block. You may recall the engine had a VERY expensive rebuild by a high
end shop in Mass. Engine had water in the oil from day one as the new
sleeves leaked water.
