Peel the green Francisco Power Mist label off a hot fuel can and the can used
was Biff fly Spray. Hence bug juice? Ya think? JackB

Rick;
As I recall, those fuel mixtures were called "bug juice".

We used McCoy Red Heads
029 B 049 and 061 in the early 50's
I was too young to fly, but my dad, and both brothers were very active in
U-control speed. B Dad would start those things up in the basement for a
brief test. B The smell and sound scared the Sh#^ out B of me.
That period made me love the odor of Nitro and Castor Oil. B (he mixed his
own fuel).
