What public transportation ? From what I know of California in general,  
everything is so spread out that public transportation is not a real  option.  
Considering all the motorsports in that state, you'd think they'd welcome  
the idea.
Bottom line, you gotta show them the money, and make it socially and  
politically correct, as a state that might allow prostitution in a major city  (SF) 
obviously has high standards.
