I have used one as throttle position sensor and it works well.  Suspension 
sensors to be added yet this year
Actully they are not really expensive as durability and reliability are 
quite good.  I'm finding that we are having problems with "cheap" connectors 
that are much too large for the application.
That is something to tackle later when I get this thing running again.
