[Land-speed] Back to Bonneville with a record roar - Times Online

I've always thought the altitude (msl) was  4500"  but according to a couple of websites, it apparently  averages 4320" msl (give or take a few inches of scraped salt or surface  water)    Mark C   42 feet below sea level in the Dismal Swamp..
