Simon,
Since you are in the UK, have you taken a look at the Blokley tyres offered by MWS, I too have the Vredestein Sprint Classic, they are my third set I install and like them for the same type of driving as you do, but the Blockley are quite impressive as well and noted that many UK cars have them on.

Subject: [Healeys] Vredstein T-trac 2
Sorry to wake this topic up again……..
My 3000’s tyres are 14 yrs old. They aren’t worn and there is no visible cracking but I’m thinking that their time has come.
I’m a pretty placid driver. I live in Devon, SW UK, so the car is more usually to be found pottering around the countryside than thrashing its way up and down the motorways. I do take it to Le Mans every year but that’s not a long drive from here and I seldom take it much over 70 and, normally, I’m at 60 to 65.
So………I’m looking at the Vredstein T-trac 2. It seems to be one of the better middle priced tyres. I do note reviews saying that it’s “a good tyre for smaller cars”. Not quite sure what that’s implying nor what defines a “small” car. Weight, I suppose.
So, what’s the accumulated wisdom on these Vredsteins? Thank you.
Simon
