[Healeys] Interesting gas cap

Hello, Healeyphiles -
 
A new BJ8 owner bought his car from eBay.  It has a very interesting gas cap
that I have never seen before.  The owner does not know the source of the
cap.  Has anyone ever seen one of these?  Anyone know its origin?
