[Healeys] Concours question BN2 Air Filters

The air filters on #923 were a satin black.  I do believe them to be original, though tthe car had the optional chrome valve cover which I believe would have included chrome filters.

I have seen both Satin Black and Crackle Black on BN1 air filters.
   
   - At about what engine number might the change to Hammertone Green been made?
   - Was both Satin and Crackle black used on the BN1 filters – or is one  correct, and the other not?

Absolutely, they were painted the same Hammertone green. I have restored two originals that definitely had green paint on the front, back and mesh.
