[Healeys] Best adhesive to install the boot lid seal

Hi All,

Does anyone have a recommendation for an adhesive to install the boot lid rubber seal. I have the black 3M weatherstrip and gasket adhesive, but I really don’t like they way it spreads and adheres to the surface of the lid. Is there an alternative?
