[Healeys] 5-Speed towing

I see no reason why you should have  to disconnect the driveshaft.  The transmission is full of oil and any rotating part in the transmission as it is being towed will splash oil up into the bearings and gears. Everything will stay lubricated. And that is all that matters. I believe it is automatic transmissions that cannot be flat towed with the driveshaft connected.
