Hello teammates. I’m having so much fun getting my ’66 AH 3000 BJ8 ready for Concours Judging in September. Have a few (maybe that is a bit understated) questions and directional help that I hope you can fill. Here goes:
1. Are the head of the bolts that fasten the rocker cover suppose to be engine green painted and if so, should I continue on the washers just below it?
2. Are the bolts that attach the hinges to the hood to be painted car color?
3. I have an after market battery (proper positive ground). Can I just spray paint it black ? or do I need to order a replace?
4. Any prior “how to” on replacing my non-original steering wheel with the proper original will be helpful, especially if there are pictures (I am a “freshman” on this travel).
5. Any suggestions on where I can purchase one little black wiper cap that secures the rubber wiper from sliding off?
6. Moss is back ordered on fuel (the silver braided) lines to come from the front carb. Trying to find where to replace.
7. Looking to replace the paper gasket that is under the small trunk hinge. Moss only has paper and it looks real cheap and also the paper color is tan and stands out a bit on my red AH. Any suggestions on where to get?
8. Any suggestions on where to find the seat belt fasteners that fasten to the rear sides. I presently have, but it only has one hole that fastens to the two hole/bolt set up. Or, since it is a safety issue, is anyone aware if the judges will accept the one hole fasten?
9. Is there a retired, or otherwise available, Concours judge that would be willing to give a look at my engine pics and give me some specific direction.

Well, as I warned above, this may be a bit more than a “few”. Any help will be greatly appreciated, welcomed and cherished. THANK YOU!!
