[Healeys] Healeys Digest, Vol 15, Issue 208

A friend who stopped in England en route to the LeMans Classic in 2012 told me that he remarked to the Brit he was visiting that he was surprised that the man—who lived in the country—didn’t own a pickup truck. The response was that no one who did not have a business need for such a vehicle was permitted to own one. Any Brits out there who can vouch for this?

Jean you will recall this photo that I took at a highway fuel stop when we were in the UK. Dozens of cars a few small delivery vans but not a giant SUV or pickup truck to be seen and it was that way throughout the entire area that we visited.
