Mike, I assume the fitting will be the same for a BT7, in which case put me down for a set too.

Thanks for the offer,

Mirek

Subject: [Healeys] Stainless steel brake lines

I have found that one of the first things that has started to show evidence of corrosion on my restored BN1 are the brake lines and their associated flare nuts.

I suspect that the plating on these lines is the culprit in that it is very thin and easily damaged.

I'm contemplating doing a run of stainless steel flare nuts, both male and female, to use with the stainless steel brake tubing that I have purchased.

Before doing the run I'm trying to gauge if there would be any interest from people doing restorations in purchasing stainless flare nuts.

Depending upon quantities these would cost between $3 & $5 each say around $40 - $ 60 per car set.

At this stage the larger nuts for the master cylinder supply pipes are not being considered because of cost, the material is expensive.

Please let me know if these would be of interest to you. No commitment at this stage.

M
