[Healeys] BN1/2 Windscreen Assembly

That can be a bear of a job, particularly if you have mis-matched parts.
I would recommend assembling the entire thing and trial fitting it to the
car before installing the glass.
You MUST use the correct thickness of "Everseal" or whatever brand of
seating tape you have, 2 layers + the glass thickness = the width of the
channel.
Measure and carefully mark the centers of all channels and the sides of the
glass.
Be very sure that none of the corner bracket screws are too long.
Lots of engine oil on the sealing tape to make it swell after installation.
Take your time.
