Alan,My 100 project did not include a choke cable. I am searching for a replacement & want to make sure I understand what should be OE. For my education, how is the half moon assessed. Or to say it another way how is the half moon re-installed?Gary Hodson

Gary -
Usually there's a little half moon in there which wears out, so if you just fabricate a new half moon, the friction lock will work again.
On my BN1 the choke just pulls out and stays there, so no need for friction lock.

Best,
Alan

Did the OE 100 choke cable feature the 1/4 turn friction lock like on the BJ8's for example? If yes, do any of the suppliers sell a repro that includes a good quality lock with the correct knob or even better does anyone have a good used OE one for sale?  Gary Hodson_______________________________________________
