[Healeys] Bellcrank Position

Can you 100 guys tell me if the bent arms of the throttle bellcrank on the
driver's footwell are oriented towards the footwell, or the open engine
bay?  There seems to be a lot of binding and interference with the pushrods
in the position in the picture.  Thought I saw it this way in other
photographs on the internet.
