[Healeys] Tach question

You can try a few things. If there is an external loop in the feed (I
think it is usually a white or yellow wire) you may remove or add one
loop. Another trick seems to be to add two diodes in series between coil
and tachometer. A bit more involved but very doable as a DIY person is
to change the print board inside:

Having the tach rebuild is way more expensive so it may be worth to
experiment a bit with the above.
