Hmmm that opens up an interesting question re my BN7:
My Heritage Certificate says it came without overdrive... but it now has a top shifter and overdrive; the original side shifter was in the barn when I found the car but my wife “suggested” I sell it as it occupied too much space in my ridiculously  expensive 600 Sq ft apt in SFO at the time. I rebuilder up in Napa bought it as I recall.
Guess I need to find a graph to see what gears I really have in it
