Hi Patrick,

Taxes are dependent on where the car is purchased.  Each state is different
and can also be different within a state in different counties and cities.
For example:  New York collects a 4% *state sales tax* rate on the purchase
of all vehicles. There are also a county or local taxes of up to 4.5%. In
addition to taxes, car purchases in New York may be subject to other fees
like registration, title, and plate fees.  Generally, there will also be a
delivery fee by the manufacturer on top of the suggested list price.
