[Healeys] Getting started on a restoration...

Starting the restoration is always tough, but it doesn't need to be. The first time you see that you have double the amount of garage floor space that it takes to park the car that you don't need to use for about 18 months, and a set of empty shelves about 8x8x2 feet, you can start (there's absolutely no way to do a restoration without that much time and space available, but if you've got it, what are you waiting for?)Then on a Friday night, you put the car up on jackstands, remove the wheels (cover the splines), and take off the first obvious piece -- windshield, grille,... whatever, it doesn't matter.
And in the spirit of Peter Egan, who once wrote "That weekend, under the influence of a case of Guinness and several pots of hot coffee, we accidentally disassembled my Morgan." -- you're committed. And you'll never look back.

Some things take time.  I still need to find the time to restore my '56 100 BN2. I've owned it since 1974. Sigh.
