[Healeys] Wadding or Batting for Door Panels

I purchased thin foam at a fabric store for the same process as well as matching vinyl fabric to cover the panels.

Looking at what I removed from my 60 year old door panels it should be approximately 1/16" - 1/8" thick and not retain moisture. I found a picture on the internet but there was no information on what the material was.
