[Healeys] Down pipes

I’m curious to know how you discovered the nuts were loose in the first place.
I had trouble with leaky gaskets, so I spent a fair amount of time under there getting things sealed up. I ended up making my own from Remflex, which is a graphite based gasket material designed for exhaust systems...it compresses somewhat and gives a good seal.
But I’ve never found the nuts loose...mine are stainless, not brass.
