[Healeys] BJ8 tach disassembly

Hi
The glass sits in a ”frame” that is fitted in the top of the instrument can. Use a small screwdriver, or even a knife, to carefully separate the frame from the can. Be careful so you don’t cut yourself. The edge of the frame can be seen when the chromed bezel has been removed, which also can be a challenge. Normally the glass can be removed without removing the frame, there is a rubber seal between the glass and frame. But you can not get the workings out of the can without removing the frame.
