Gary you might try Michael Hildrey at British Vehicle Electric , Beaton Ontario , Canada 905-729-4276 , bve at bellnet.ca . The email address is from a very old business card but the phone number should be current .
His prices are very reasonable , have bought several rebuilt starters and generators from him .

Bruce,
Thanks for the response. I recently sent my generator to Mike at Star Elec. & it arrived back rebuilt a few days ago. It looks great! He is very good to work with. He did not have a replacement insulator, but he directed me to Abingdon Spares. That is where I received a replacement insulator, but it is the one in the scan that is too small to fit the center to center spacing on my posts. They do not have any other insulators & no sources.
So to anyone listening, I still would like to find a source for the correct insulator.

I have a Lucas dynamo/generator # C45PV5, 22456B. It came with my '53 BN1. I am not sure if it is correct for this application, but I have decided to use it & am having it rebuild.
There are two electrical terminals on the end of this Dyno. They have an single insulator that fits snugly around both terminals. See attached scan of the insulator. Unfortunately, the original insulator is broken & the missing piece is lost. I was able to locate a replacement insulator, but the spacing between the two terminal holes does not match my Dyno.-see attached.
The center to center spacing between the two holes needs to be 1-5/16" to fit my Dyno. Does anyone have a spare insulator or can suggest a source, perhaps a rebuilder in the UK, that might be able to help me?
Thanks,
Gary Hodson
