i purchased a solid state SU pump a few years ago, used it for about a month then put it in the trunk as i considered it a more reliable spare than one with points. WRONG! after two years i put it on the car and it refused to work. eventually a friend in our club who had the same problem with his pump found a guy to fix it. hope it works better this time.
