[Healeys] BT7 Mk II Door Shut Finisher - Adjustment?

Does the alu strip on the door line up with the alu strip on the rear 
shroud?

Even on my car, which is not restored in that area, these parts do not 
line up to 100%. The shut panel lines up with the rear shroud though, IIRC.
