[Healeys] BT7 Mk II Door Shut Finisher - Adjustment?

It looks like the shut panel can go a little bit further towards the center of the car, there is a gap there. On the other hand it doesn’t look like it will fit anyway. Do you still have the originals? So you can compare them.
