[Healeys] dumb transmission question

Hi Jonathan,
No dumb questions.......
The BN2 transmission is very similar to the 100/6. The bell housing is
different but interchangeable as the 100/6 uses an hydraulic clutch whereas
the BN2 clutch is mechanically operated.
The 1st motion shaft on the 100/6 is longer but can be cut down to allow
use of the transmission in a BN2.
The BN1 transmission, although completely different from a 100/6 could be
replaced by one if a BN2 bell housing and clutch were used and the input
shaft was shortened.
I think that is all of... others may have thoughts.
