[Healeys] Storage

Gents,I have a cut-off switch that allows me to turn off the fuel pump and in so doing, empty the carburettors on my BJ8. Is it prudent to do so if I'm storing the vehicle for many months or is it best to leave fuel in the carbs? Thank you......rich antal
