Yes about a year ago.
If you don’t mind the non standard look they are great. I don’t buy the extra 6HP that DW claims but no doubt there is less input air restriction compared to the pancakes.  A little noisier as you can hear the air flow  - I think that this is reassuring ! Well made and the clips work well.
I bought the special oil spray they tout from ITG in CA as there are cautions about using the incorrect oil.
An added benefit is that it takes but a few mins to remove the cover and get access to the SU pistons etc.

Has anyone installed the Denis Welch foam air cleaner kit on a BJ-8?  

 

If so, how do you like it?  What did you do regarding the breather tube that goes to the rear carb?
