[Healeys] Steering box

I think I have it easy.  My steering box is not installed in the car yet.  Probably best if I fill it with that Corn Head grease or something before I put it in.  It turns smoothly and at present there is no leak, but why wait for a problem (leak) to happen?Mike MacLean56 BN2BTW - This is the third steering shaft and box assembly I had to get to find one that was not corroded or stuck so bad it could not be rebuilt.  Some things on this car are costing me a small fortune.

If it is possible for you to obtain where you are geographically located a
product that goes by the name of SMR [ Sugar Mill Roller Bearing Grease ] is
yet another liquid grease.
The Healey owners in Australia should have very little problem with supply
as there are large sugar cane fields especially in Queensland.
This product can be obtained for very little in way of cost.
Usual application method, hand pump gun applicator.
