[Healeys] BJ8 Dash - Extra Hole

Good Day Charlie.  It is doubtful that the extra 1.25’’ diameterhole in the BJ8 dash was for a normal ‘Smiths’ gauge.  I believe the smallest Smiths gauges are 52mmor 2.05 in.  A Smiths catalogue isattached which outlines some of the gauges.
