[Healeys] su pumps again

"... you may have to add a small accumulator in the pressure line to compensate for the air chamber ..."

Begs the question as to why the earlier pumps didn't need/have the accumulator? Did SU, or somebody, identify an issue that the accumulator solved? The SU pump in our BN2--sans accumulator--seems to work OK.

These are supposed to be of reasonable quality, however you may have to add a small accumulator in the pressure line to compensate for the air chamber as used in many SU-pumps. They are quite common in the Netherlands.
There is also an Australian SU look-a like with a black plastic coil housing. The make eludes me at the moment due to age I suppose. Quality is supposed to be OK as well. Both pumps are electronic.
Contrary to the usual replacements these pumps stop when the max. pressure has been reached, similar to the SU pumps.
