[Healeys] Gas strut boot lid support

Hey Lin:
What size tire do you have in the boot? I ask because I have a 185, and had to have the prop rod customized to clear the wider tire.
I'm wondering if this strut will clear the wider tire.

No deformities in boot lid. The strut is properly braced. It has been on my car for probably four-five years and used many times. Improper execution would stress the lid, but not with this arrangement.
