Rick,
I juct checked. Actually is no car dealer existing in Kassel with the name
Fr. Lindemann. But anyway, if they would still exist any sale details of
the 60s would have been destroyed a long time ago.
Registration details of the 60s do not exist anymore. So I see no chance to
put any light on this.
My own Sprite Mk3 is a car delivered to Germany and I only have the history
since 1975. First 19 years the car existted, the car already had 13 owners.
I am the 14th owner of my car. I only know the previous owners from number
9 on.

I bought my bugeye Sprite from the niece of the original owner, a US
serviceman who brought it back with him from Germany. The BMIHT
certificate shows it was originally delivered to Dusseldorf. It has
attached to the front fender a plate from "Fr. Lindemann, Kassel" (see
attached picture) which I take to be the car dealer in Kassel. I know it
is a long shot, but is anyone aware of the history of such a dealer?
Danke Schoen (I don't know any German, but I remember Wayne Newton)
Rick Neville
