I take my car to the local “Topless car wash” I figure if the soap is good enough for their beautiful bodies….its good enough for my Healey 😊😊

Agreed (do not use dish soap unless you want to remove wax and possibly damage the paint!).  I think the most important thing is to use soft water--if your local supply is hard, you'll need a softener--else you'll likely get spotting.

Oh, and do not wash your car in Flint, MI.

As long as it's decent car wash, you should be in good shape.  Honestly the modern paints are so bullet proof it's hard to mess them up.

So this will sound weird, but I have not washed my car since painting it 5 years ago. I  had not really been driven. I have put about 15 hours on it since the end of Nov and my lower rear wings have road dreck and the rest of the car is dirty. Not trying to ask the best oil question here, but I guess its pretty close. What should I use to clean my car with?
Thanks all
