[Healeys] driving in the past

Dear Robert,
We had great fun this year with more than 100 Austin-Healeys in the Black 
Forest/Germany. More than 60 Healeys came over from the UK. Other cars were 
from so many friends in Europe /France, Switzerland, Poland, Norway, 
Danmark, Sweden, The Netherlands, Germany ) and we also had the Putzke 
Family from the US with us.
 
 
 
 
 
This was an Austin-Healey Club UK Event which was for me the best event I 
ever joint. Must say I was one of the organisers.
Last picture is me and my daughter in our beloved Sprite. First of my 
Austin-Healeys, which I bought in 1984. Next year we have our International 
Healey Weekend at Leamington Spa close to Warwick in England.

Dear Josef,
 
My fondest memories was driving the autobahns back in 1972 - 1975 while I 
was stationed in Neubrucke.
 
We had a new BMW 2002 TII that we put almost 40,000 miles on driving around 
Europe.  
 
One fantastic run was from the French border to Frankfurt ,  almost 100 
miles in just an hour, .  
 
One thing i remember was no matter how fast you were driving, there was 
always someone faster…
flashing their lights, wanting to pass.
 
I also had the roadster I built back in 1969 with me.  Nothing greater than 
cruising the countryside in an open car.
