Magnus,
I very much doubt its made in Germany. It carries the name BASTUCK,
but that doesn`t mean its made in Germany.
Have a look to their wiring looms or windscreens - high quality?? A
friend bought them. The wiring loom is junk. The windscreen for BJ8
doesn`t fit, too short at the edges. What I want to say is, this batch
of waterpumps Bastuck sells is maybe ok, but the next batch can be
very different.

This water pump is made by a German company by the name of
Bastuck. It's high quality and not much more expensive than the County
pump, which is junk. You will find Bastuck here:

Speaking of defective water pumps, does anyone know anything about
the uprated water pump for 100-4s that British Parts Northwest sells?
It cost a little more than the County brand the usual suspects sell.

[4] It looks like it is rebuildable. I ordered one last week and it
looks like they are out of stock for now. I wonder where these come
from? It sure does not look like China. ;^) Mike MacLean 56 BN2 60 AN5
