[Healeys] engine and piston question

The 100-6 block should be a 1C/H. When I changed pistons I also had to
change out rods because my 100-6 used clamp type which are impossible to
find. If I was to do it again I would defiantly find a later 6-cyl block.

Subject: [Healeys] engine and piston question

I am rebuilding my100-6 BN4. I ordered a set of pistons. When they came in
the mechanic showed me they were too small. I have reached the conclusion
that the engine must have been swapped out at some point. The number on the
block is 29f/1H 5487. Can anyone tell from this # what the engine might be.
Thanks for any help.
