I just used sandpaper on an orbital palm sander. Worked just fine. That was in the early 90s. It's time to re-sand and polish it as I just left it polished and occasionally waxed.

Has anyone found an effective way to strip the anodizing without using exotic chemicals and heat. I have seen some posts that recommend oven cleaner. Has anyone used oven cleaner effectively?
