Everything is clean and the small return spring is good (I have a new one).  Is there a way to shim the worm gear or collar that holds the spring to fix this?  Might I have to replace the collar, pinon and worm gear to fix it?  Does anyone know where I can find a Lucas shop manual for the starter motor that would show parts and clearances?  Thank you,  John’62 BT7
