[Healeys] BJ8 Water Pump Kits

There are probably several bearing kits that can be adapted. The bearing 
itself seems standard, it is the variations in pulley and vane shaft 
diameters and the length of the shafts.
If the length of the shaft is a problem because it is to large, it is 
easy to cut the hardened shaft. I have used a Dremel with cutting 
disk(s) (little heat) quite successfully very often (Cheap Vauxhall WP 
bearing to convert into expensive Lotus bearing) and even a larger disk 
grinder (lots of heat) will do. Make sure however that the shaft does 
not get hot and do not let the shaft spin at silly speeds or at all. 
Finishing and chamfering the ends on a bench grinder with a fairly fine 
grid stone is easy, but always remember, keep temperatures well down by 
immersing the ends in water very often. The dimensions in length are not 
overly critical.
