If you are into welding, you can gusset the lower A arm mounting points on the frame. That is what the factory did on the 100S. I don't know if that mod was repeated for the Sebring 6 cylinders.

Subject: [Healeys] Body Restoration - Making the Plan

Hi All,

Been dithering on this for a very long time, and been off the list due to
other issues.

I am looking for direction to the ideas for body mods that will improve the
original design, ie. plates welded on the shock mounts to allow camber
adjustments, reinforcements on the gearbox tunnel, gussets for the motor
mounts, etc.

So, not going to do a concours on the old boy, I want to stay to the
original end of the spectrum, so no Ford 302 with a supercharger sticking
out of a hole in the hood, and the fender wells worked out to accommodate
wide BF Goodrich TA Radials.

Can't seem to get into old posts, so any help is appreciated.

Best regards,
